Imagine a rehearsal week full of mental dance choreography, clowning workshops (courtesy of our Clown Masters Jake and Sean), an introduction to puppetry (courtesy of our Puppet Master Michael), and beautiful vocal harmonies - ohhh, just like this one.
We had another wonderfully productive second week this week, and are starting to see the show take a rough shape which is very, very exciting.
Our brilliant supervisors, director Iain Reekie (ex-Programme Director at Rose Bruford), and choreographer Jen Rooney (the legend behind West End musical, Once), were in the room to support and aid our work, and it is invaluable to have them on hand to provide their sage words of wisdom.
I think we can all safely say the MVP award for this week goes to Abby who has almost single-handedly choreographed the entire show for a cast of 15 on a traverse stage with multiple instruments - certainly no easy feat!
